Come and join the team as Sous Chef at our popular community club. The Burleigh Leagues Club are looking for a full time Sous Chef, to ignite a fiery passion for excellence in customer service and help elevate the dining experience to new heights. 
You will work closely with the Executive Chef and a team of culinary professionals to achieve excellence and consistently exceed our member's expectations. 
This role will have you oversee kitchen operations, food preparation and work with our Executive Chef on designing innovative menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and culinary trends. You will be responsible for the day-to-day organisation of the kitchens, ordering and preparation of sections for both restaurants and the capability to make pizza and tapas if required as well as food from Kitchen34. 
You must be a passionate Chef, a true leader by example, support and manage a team and have a true understanding of HACCP protocol. You will need to have a strong knowledge of banqueting, canape platters, buffet, alternated drop platted dinner as well as a full understanding on costing analyses, monthly, weekly, and daily specials. 
To be successful you will always be friendly and professional, truly understand priority whilst working in a fast-paced kitchen.

You will bring 
- Previous experience as a Sous Chef, preferably within a Club. 
- Solid leadership and supervisory experience with other BOH employees. 
- Experience in ordering and stock control. 
- Secure Food Handling Supervisor Certificate or ability to obtain. 
- Demonstrated experience in effectively communicating. 
- A commercial cookery qualification would be advantageous.
