Offer description

Volley Recruit is currently seeking an experienced Administration & Accounts Officer for one of our clients based in Berri. This is a long-term, ongoing opportunity suited to a reliable and detail-oriented professional who enjoys working in a busy office environment within a small, close-knit team.


About the Role


This position plays a key role in supporting daily office operations, with a strong focus on accounts, payroll and general administration. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial and administrative records while providing front desk and internal support across the business.


Key Responsibilities

* Reception and customer service duties
* Accounts payable and receivable
* Weekly payroll processing and employee record maintenance
* Purchasing of office and factory consumables as required
* General administration and daily office tasks
* Data entry and document management
* Assisting with month-end processes
* Supporting HR administration requirements
* Work Health & Safety administrative support
* Assisting with document control and quality processes
* Adhering to company policies, procedures and safe work practices
* Other administrative duties as directed by management


Skills & Experience


Essential:

* Previous administration experience
* Accounts payable experience
* Payroll processing experience
* Intermediate computer skills, including MS Office and accounting software
* High attention to detail and accuracy
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to prioritise, multitask and meet deadlines
* Driver's licence
* Full Australian working rights

Desirable:

* Experience in construction, fabrication or manufacturing environments
* WHS knowledge or experience
* Document control experience
* First Aid certification

* Excellent time management skills
* High level of professionalism, accountability and commitment
* Willingness to undertake drug and alcohol screening if required
