About the role
PROTECTIVE PLASTICS' is seeking a reliable and hardworking Factory Worker to join our plastics manufacturing facility in Marcoola, QLD. You will be responsible for operating and maintaining our state-of-the-art plastic moulding equipment to produce high-quality plastic products. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, reporting to the Production Supervisor.
What you'll be doing
* Operate and monitor plastic moulding and CNC machines to ensure efficient and consistent production
* Perform quality checks on finished products and identify any defects or issues
* Assist with the set-up, adjustment, and maintenance of plastic moulding equipment
* Maintain a clean and organised work area to support a safe and productive environment
* Follow all safety protocols and procedures
* Collaborate with the production team to identify process improvements and optimize efficiency
What we're looking for
* Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment, ideally in plastics processing
* Ability to read and interpret production specifications, drawings, and work orders
* Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
* Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
* Ability to work collaboratively in a team and follow instructions
* Familiarity with workplace health and safety regulations
