About Your New Job
Tamworth Hospital is looking for Enrolled Nurses to work across the multiple wards within the facility. Enjoy a supportive learning environment and a growth mindset as you work across the wards you're interested in. Tamworth Hospital champions professional development.
You won't be working alone. You'll be provided with a supported education program with the Nurse Educator and be given supernumerary shifts to support learning of the role. You will receive ongoing support from Enrolled Nurses, Registered Nurses and the Nurse Unit Manager.
Where You'll Be Working
Tamworth Hospital is the principal referral hospital for the northern sector of Hunter New England Local Health District, servicing a population of over 180,000 people. As a major rural referral facility, it provides a wide range of specialist services, including emergency, medical, surgical, maternity, critical care, mental health, rehabilitation and outpatient services.
Located in the vibrant regional centre of Tamworth, the hospital is a teaching facility affiliated with the University of Newcastle, offering opportunities to work alongside clinicians involved in research, education and innovation.
