Working closely with the Finance Manager, you'll ensure strong financial controls while providing insights that drive decision-making.Responsibilities:Manage month-end and year-end accounting processes, including journals, reconciliations, and reporting.Prepare and review management accounts, statutory accounts, and audit workpapers.Support budgeting and forecasting processes.Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax, and regulatory requirements.Provide variance analysis and commentary on financial performance.Partner with internal stakeholders to support financial queries and decision-making.Identify opportunities to improve systems, processes, and reporting efficiencies.Your Skills & ExperienceCA/CPA qualified (or near completion) with strong technical accounting knowledge.Experience in a commercial finance or chartered environment.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
