The RoleReporting to the Senior Financial Accountant, you will be responsible for ensuring all customer accounts are well managed and we receive timely payments.
You will work collaboratively and partner with other functional areas in resolving queries, reporting on sales and debtor accounts, and ensuring the AR team is providing quality service to both internal and external customers.Key ResponsibilitiesManaging Debtors & Debtor reporting requirements:Taking ownership over Debtor Accounts, the Debtors Aged Trial Balance, provision for debt write-offs, reconciling accounts to the Trial Balance.Increasing cashflow through effective collection and receipting of outstanding debt.Enhancing internal and external customer relationships.Responsible for completing month end duties.Setting up New Accounts.Credit Applications.Assisting with the successful completion of our Audit & Tax compliance.Provide support to Finance Business Partners.Assist with reporting of budgets and forecasts.Promoting best practice debtor management processes with knowledge of recoveries procedures, accounting standards and driving systems improvement initiatives.Proactively providing value-add support to Accounting Team to reduce non-value-add tasks while keeping in place a solid internal controls environment:Providing support to members within the accounting team and across the business.Preparing ad hoc debtors reports.Completing all tasks as assigned from the Senior Financial Accountants and Transactional Manager, Finance senior leadership and leaders across the business.Supporting and driving continuous improvement within accounts receivable processes, policies, systems and controls.About youWe are looking for someone with strong people skills, creative, positive and self-motivated with an inquisitive nature and a passion for working in a high-performing team.
