In this role, you will take the lead in managing client activities and milestones throughout the deal lifecycle.Job responsibilitiesBuilds and maintains strong relationships with deal teams, supporting the origination and execution phases of transactions for a portfolio of clients across various sectors and cross-borderEnsures timely completion of client activities and transaction milestones (e.g., client media coverage, ESG/sustainability related assessment, sanctions due diligence, deal announcements, and closure)Joins due diligence calls with deal teams to identify and coordinate necessary follow-up actionsManages and monitors deal pipelineCollaborates with compliance, legal, credit, research, finance and business management, and other teams on clients and transactionsAttends meetings and provide end-to-end oversight of the underwriting committee approval processPartners with the Know Your Customer team to facilitate advisory for new and existing business, ensuring the timely and accurate completionIdentifies and implements opportunities to streamline processes, alleviating administrative workloads and improving efficiencyKeeps a close eye on deal controls, ensuring that all milestones are achieved on time and that any issues are promptly addressedRequired qualifications, capabilities, and skillsPrevious experience and sound knowledge of investment banking products such as Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A), Equity Capital Markets (ECM), Leveraged Finance (LF), Debt Capital Markets (DCM), or LoansExcellent relationship management skills and comfortable interacting with clients, C-Suite, and senior executives, on a regular basisHighly self-driven with the ability to work independently and take full ownershipFlexibility to juggle multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environmentStrong decision-making skills, with the ability to identify problems and drive effective resolutionsA proactive mindset with a track record of delivering dependable, timely, and accurate partnership to deal teams and clientsPreferred qualifications, capabilities, and skillsA background in relationship management, sales, or deal execution services is advantageous
