We require a Power Systems Engineer to join our Perth based Power Systems team, contributing to design, reports, studies and analysis to our diverse loyal clientele across resource and energy.
Key Requirements
- Sound experience in the analysis and design of HV power systems including design of powerlines and substations
- Sound generalist electrical engineering experience that also includes knowledge of electrical, instrumentation and controls applications
- Experience working on both greenfield and brownfield projects
- Degree level electrical engineering qualifications, with specialized power engineering qualifications well regarded
- An ability to self-manage while working in a variety of team scenarios
- The ability to travel with project requirements
Responsibilities
- Undertake power system analysis for clients
- Design power systems for the mining and power generation industries
- Assist with the preparation and evaluation of tenders
- Use power systems modelling packages such as DigSilent, PowerFactory and ETAP
