About the role
We are seeking an Estimator to join our team based in Fyshwick ACT. This position is responsible for delivering first principle Estimates for civil construction projects both individually and as part of a team. In this role you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of tenders ranging from $2m to $100m+ for a diverse range of clients in the ACT and Southern NSW.
You will be responsible for:
* Preparing accurate tenders for civil construction projects
* Estimate project quantities and costs and identify discrepancies in tender schedules
* Prepare tender submissions including construction methodologies, tender programmes and addressing other non-price related criteria.
* Carry out site inspections and attend tender briefings
* Developing and maintaining relationships with Clients, Subcontractors and Suppliers
Skills and experience:
* Tertiary qualifications in Civil engineering or similar is preferred
* Experience using Expert Estimation and previous civil construction experience would be an advantage
* Demonstrated history of delivering winning tenders
* A minimum 2 years experience in the civil construction industry
