Casual Cleaner – Naturaliste Community Centre

About the role:
We are looking for a dynamic individual who values quality experience for our customers and members. Reporting to the Team Leader – Naturaliste Community Centre, this position is responsible for the cleanliness and presentation of the Naturaliste Community Centre including library, stadium, multi-purpose room, kitchens, crèche, all staff and public areas, specified leased areas, outdoor areas, public toilets and change rooms. The Naturaliste Community Centre offers a flexible working environment, and for the right candidate, start and finish times can be negotiated in line with operational requirements. This role is ideal for someone seeking 1–2 shifts per week, with the potential for additional hours during periods of staff leave or unexpected absences.
Hours of work are ad hoc and could be rostered from Monday to Sunday between 5am – 10pm.
Current shifts available include:
* Monday to Thursday: 5.00am – 9.00am
* Wednesday: 12.00pm – 4.00pm
Additional hours may arise based on bookings, events and centre requirements. Some duties can be physically demanding, including the requirement to move and lift equipment such as tables, chair stacks, weights, netball/volleyball poles, etc.
The person:
To be successful in this role you will have:
* Previous experience cleaning public facilities.
* Ability to work with own initiative.
* Must be highly flexible to accommodate diverse booking schedule.
* Developed interpersonal and customer relation skills.
* Developed knowledge of the operation of commercial cleaning machines.
