This role offers the opportunity to work directly with the Managing Director and play a key role in shaping both client outcomes and the future direction of the agency.
About the Role
We Think Digital is looking for a Head of Growth to lead the strategic direction, performance and delivery of our clients' digital marketing initiatives.
This role owns the performance, direction and delivery of marketing across client accounts. You will be accountable for ensuring strategies are executed to a high standard and deliver measurable results.
Working closely with the Managing Director, you will play a key leadership role in shaping strategy, driving performance, and improving how marketing is delivered across the business.
You will oversee multi-channel growth strategies across SEO, paid advertising, LeadGen, CRO, content, marketing automation and ai implementation — ensuring activity translates into real business outcomes.
This role is ideal for someone who is a passionate self-starter, a natural problem solver, and enjoys taking ownership of both strategy and execution in a fast-moving agency environment.
Key Responsibilities
Lead strategic conversations with clients and act as a trusted advisor
Present insights, recommendations and growth opportunities
Own performance outcomes and ensure strategies align with business goals
Develop and oversee multi-channel digital marketing strategies aligned with client objectives
Identify opportunities to improve lead generation, conversion rates and campaign performance
Design and optimise growth funnels across acquisition, conversion and retention
Contribute to the development and refinement of scalable, productised service offerings
Performance Marketing
Oversee performance across SEO, Google Ads, Paid Social, content marketing and email marketing
Analyse campaign performance and provide strategic recommendations for improvement
Execution & Delivery Oversight
Ensure strategies are executed to a high standard across all channels
Align designers, developers and marketers to deliver outcomes
Remove blockers and maintain delivery momentum
Take ownership of campaign quality and performance
Systems & Process Improvement
Build frameworks, templates and SOPs to improve delivery
Create repeatable processes across clients and campaigns
Improve operational efficiency and scalability
Identify patterns and turn them into internal playbooks
AI & Automation
Leverage AI tools to improve marketing workflows and output quality
Identify opportunities to automate repetitive tasks
Continuously test and adopt new tools and processes
Identify opportunities to improve conversion rates and user journeys
Work with developers and designers to implement UX and CRO improvements
Design and manage structured experimentation programs (A/B testing)
Build and prioritise testing roadmaps
Use data to validate hypotheses and continuously improve performance
Commercial Contribution
Identify opportunities for upsell and account growth
Contribute to agency growth and service development
Balance performance with efficiency and profitability
Lead, mentor and develop the marketing team, ensuring high standards of execution and accountability
Work closely with developers, designers and leadership to deliver growth initiatives
Ensure marketing strategies translate into clear briefs and successful execution
About You
We're looking for someone who:
Has 8+ years experience in digital marketing, with proven ownership of strategy and performance across multiple channels or client accounts
Has a strong background in performance marketing and lead generation
Is a passionate self-starter who takes ownership of challenges
Is a natural problem solver who enjoys finding creative solutions
Can think strategically while also staying close to execution
Is confident making decisions and taking ownership without needing constant direction.
Is comfortable working autonomously and leading initiatives
Enjoys working in a fast-moving agency environment
Key Skills & Experience
Deep experience across SEO, paid advertising, CRO and digital growth strategy
Strong analytical skills and ability to translate data into strategic insights
Experience managing multi-channel marketing strategies
Strong communication skills and ability to lead strategic discussions
Experience working in an agency or multi-client environment
