First National Mackay, Sarina, and Nebo are looking for a Property Manager to join our dynamic, high-performing Sarina office. You will be empowered and supported in managing a portfolio through the entire process, including ongoing management, repairs, maintenance, arrears management, lease renewals, and entry and exit reports.
In this role, you'll build and maintain relationships with tenants and landlords, demonstrating confidence and solution-oriented thinking. Excellent communication skills and experience in conflict resolution are essential, along with providing accurate legislative advice. We focus on delivering positive client experiences and equip you with the tools and training needed to excel.
Role and Responsibilities
Manage your own portfolio end-to-end with support.
Nurture and maximize existing client relationships, managing client-focused actions.
Oversee maintenance and repairs using our dedicated property management software.
Communicate effectively with tenants and landlords regarding maintenance issues.
Provide outstanding customer service to landlords, tenants, and tradespeople.
Conduct inspections, including Entry, Exit, and Routine inspections.
Stay up-to-date with RTRA Acts and ongoing self-development.
Skills and Experience
Hold a current Queensland Salespersons Registration and a valid Driver's License.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to explain complex concepts clearly to property owners and tenants.
Empathy, strong communication abilities, and a solution-focused mindset.
Legislative knowledge and awareness of market trends and changes.
Ability to manage multiple deadlines, demonstrating resilience and adaptability.
Proficiency with software and computers, with quick learning ability for new systems.
Enjoy teamwork and maintain a positive attitude towards challenges.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with PME, IRE, and other popular property management software.
Ability to lead and mentor junior staff.
