Austage Events Melbourne is a proudly independent audio-visual company with over 20 years of experience creating events that are just a little bit different. We're big on team, fun, and family, and we're looking for someone who shares those values to join us as our new Crewing Coordinator .
In this role, you'll be the go-to person for coordinating our amazing AV crew — full-time and casual — across the three key parts of our business:
* Port Melbourne Office & Warehouse
* Zinc In-House
What you'll be doing:
* Scheduling full-time and casual staff across audio, video, and lighting for all events.
* Coordinating all aspects of crew requirements, fromprepping/de-prepping ,bump ins/setups ,show operates, through tobump outs/packdowns .
* Sourcing and inducting new casual staff and helping grow our extended crew family.
* Keeping staff updated on company policies and procedures.
* Occasionally rolling up your sleeves to support the team in the warehouse or on-site (we're all hands-on here).
What we're looking for:
* This is a challenging role so we need a motivated, adaptable, and highly organised individual who thrives in the fast-paced, ever-changing live events environment.
* Strong communication skills with the ability to stay calm and focused under pressure.
* A solid understanding of, or experience in, professional audio-visual environments.
* Previous experience in a crewing or operations role (with existing crew contacts a big plus).
* Good computer skills — experience with CrewCard or Personnel Manager is a bonus.
* A current driver's licence, forklift licence, and/or White Card (WHS qualification) are all advantages.
