Essential Duties and Responsibilities
* Lead and develop strategic Mining Key Accounts across Europe
* Define and implement long‐term account strategies for key mining customers
* Develop and execute country-specific strategies
* Act as the main point of contact and internal reference for major mining customers
* Grow the distribution channel in weak markets in Norway by expanding existing distribution from another market or signing a new distributor to maximize all growth opportunities
* Drive profitable growth, market share expansion, and customer retention
* Ensure competitive positioning through market and competitor analysis
* Build strong executive‐level relationships within customer organizations
* Ensure alignment between commercial strategy and technical excellence
* Prepare and provide detailed technical reports, analyzing the operating conditions of the mine and what tire would properly fit the requirements to the account management and Yokohama sales management
Qualifications
* All other duties and responsibilities as assigned
* Knowledge of tire application & mining industry
* Understanding of Yokohama products, applications, competitive products & competitive strategies
* Good communication, excellent interpersonal & time management skills as well as management of people skills
* Problem identification & solution skills; able to travel extensively
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
* Basic computer knowledge & skills for various reports & presentations
* Ability to travel extensively (60–70%)
* Must be based in Norway
Education and/or Experience
* High School diploma or equivalent required; college degree in marketing or business preferred
* 5+ years working with dealers or in commercial divisions required; commercial/OTR tire mounting & dismounting experience
* Experience in selling technical products, ideally commercial tires or even OTR
* Experience speaking in front of an audience
* Technical hands‐on experience in mining operations, ideally with large OTR tires is ideal
* Experience with product service & warranties
Language Skills
* Fluent in English and Norwegian, Swedish and Finnish a plus
* Ability to communicate clearly and accurately in English in writing or verbally to co‐workers, supervisors, customers, and suppliers in person, email, or via telephone
