Digital Business Analyst (BBBH11481) Adelaide, Australia Digital Business Analyst – AI & Data About the Role: We're seeking a high-calibre Digital Business Analyst (Tech BA) to join a team delivering cutting-edge digital products. This front-facing, value-focused role requires exceptional technical fluency, stakeholder engagement, and digital curiosity.
Key Responsibilities: Act as a conduit between senior stakeholders (non-executive level) and technical teams. Drive productivity and efficiency gains through tailored digital solutions. Collaborate with Product Owners, Data Engineers, Data Visualisation experts, and UX/UI designers to develop AI-informed, data-driven digital products. Facilitate discovery sessions and workshops to explore AI problem statements and identify real business value. Translate complex business needs into actionable insights and requirements. Participate actively in agile ceremonies and support iterative product development. What We're Looking For: A high-IQ and EQ BA capable of engaging across business and technical domains. Strong understanding of data concepts (stack, movement, usage). Comfortable communicating with engineers, visualization specialists, and AI experts. Digital mindset—able to identify opportunities, challenge assumptions, and think beyond the obvious. Experience facilitating workshops, whiteboarding, and managing ambiguity. Experience working in Agile environments with a flexible approach. Desirable Experience: Exposure to Snowflake and/or AWS. Background in mining, heavy industry, or digital transformation. Proficiency in basic SQL and data analysis. Experience with AI, data product discovery, or intelligent automation. What It's Not: This is not an ERP BA or a traditional waterfall role. Location & Work Conditions: Adelaide-based preferred—close to the team and product owners. Flexible hybrid model—3 days in-office.
