Job Summary

About the role of Dry Fire Technician.

Based with a growing national organisation, this position offers great potential for career progression in the future. The job is a Permanent Full-time Position, working Monday till Friday, 38 hours/week. There are plenty of optional overtime available where penalty rates would apply. You will be supporting multiple sites in Kalgoorlie and have the use of a vehicle or Vehicle Allowance + Fuel Card.


Key Duties:

* Inspect, test, maintain, service and install all Dry Fire Systems and Fire Fighting Equipment to AS and/or OEM.
* Conduct routine inspection and serving of Portable Fire Systems and equipment.
* Installation of Portable Fire Systems and equipment.
* Conduct electrical facilities maintenance & repair.


Criteria:

* 3+ years' experience working as a Dry Fire Technician.
* Fire Indicator Panel (FIP) experience.
* Cert 3 in Electrotechnology - Desired (not essential).
* 'A' Grade Electrical- Desired (not essential).
* FPAS Accreditation- Desired (not essential).
* Ability to carry out inspection on fire equipment to AS 1851.
* Knowledge of AS1851, AS1668, AS1670, AS2220, ASS009 and AS3000.
* Current Driver's License.
