**About the role**:
Responsible for day to day leadership, director and supervision of International SOS' Threat Monitoring capability by ensuring effective scanning and high-quality alerting for all threat to life and urgent or emerging security incidents impacting clients and stakeholders globally.

The role will professionally manage a team of rostered specialists ensuring ongoing feedback, training and professional development to continously improve the quality and speed of delivery of security alerting

**Key responsibilities**:

- Engage in client-specific security information & analysis consultancy tasks
- Maintain culture of escalation within the team to ensure key internal stakeholders are rapidly informed of key security incidents
- Ensure security specialist have appropriate range and diversity of sources for intelligence collection and address any gaps.
- Routinely evaluate best-in-class tools and external vendors
- Professional management of team including career development and succession planning of security specialists

**About you**:

- Atleast 5+ years experience in security intelligence analysis and production preferably in a security operations centre, threat detection team or similar within corporate, security, military, government, NGO or journalism environment
- Extremely strong knowledge of the political and security landscape within atleast one region i.e either. Europe, West and Central Africa, Maghreb and Sahel
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills including ability to explain complex situations to non expert audiences in English
- Ability to critically analyst multiple streams of information under time pressure and produce actionable insights
- Knowledge of all stages of intelligence cycle including multi-source direction and collection
- International work experience in challenging, remote or hostile environments is advantageous
- Previous people management and or mentoring responsibilities with a team
- Crisis Management experience
- Proficiency in Chinese, Arabic, Russian, French or Spanish is highly desirable

**Qualifications**:

- Master Degree in a field related to security, risk management, international politics or international relations

**Working Hours**:

- Corporate working hours
- Occasional evening. weekend work based on operational requirements
