Participant Area Coordinator required for a permanent opportunity with a growing organisation North of Perth

We are working with a reputable and growing disability services provider who are looking for an experienced Area Coordinator to join their growing operations North of Perth. This is a new and exciting permanent opportunity to join a market-leading organisation working in modern-facilities.
**Your new role**
The Area Coordinator is responsible for supporting the service provider in the delivery of services to eligible NDIS participants. You will be responsible for developing care and support plans through the provision of SIL supports and ensure that SDA homes are operated efficiently.
The duties of the position include:
- Work with the individual client in developing an individual mission and vision, demonstrate commitment to their Quality System
- Assist with fortnightly rostering of Support Workers, approve timesheets, complete and submit Support Worker documentation
- Ensure that support workers provide effective care without employing unsanctioned restrictive practices, report restrictive practice behaviour to the panel as required
- Coordinate house operations - authorising food/supply orders for each house on a weekly basis, spot check housing conditions
- Monitor changes in health and support requirements, reporting to Service team as required
- Complete progress notes, assessments, books, medication forms and charts
- Oversee all receipts, card expenses and food orders before sending to accounts to approve
- Support the Service Manager and Executive Director in effectively communicating with stakeholders and identifying, recording and reporting deficiencies in tasks
- Ensure all activities comply with NDIS & funding bodies' policy and relevant legislative & regulatory requirements
**What you'll need to succeed**
- Registered Nurse/Enrolled Nurse background - or previous experience working in a similar position
- Previous experience providing daily support to participants
- Ability to manage and direct carer staff, prioritising the needs of the client
- Confidence in working autonomously when required
- Microsoft suite knowledge and ability to pick up new data management software packages
- Knowledge of relevant Policies, Procedures and Work Health and Safety requirements
- Current WA Driver's Licence
