Reporting directly to the Chief Digital Officer, the Chief Product Officer (CPO) will be the architect of our product strategy. You will partner closely with Tech, Data, AI, Marketing and our customer facing Sales teams to build and improve the seven core product pillars that drive our business.
You will lead a product team assembled in streams, shifting the culture from "delivering IT projects" to "owning business outcomes." Working at the intersection of customer needs, technological capability, and business objectives, you will turn complex market opportunities into scalable, revenue generating, productivity creating and/or moat defending solutions.
Key responsibilities include:
* Drive Revenue & Commercial Outcomes: Bridge the gap between product enhancements and tangible business results, ensuring every product initiative can be directly linked to improving the group P&L.
* Ruthless Prioritisation: Establish a transparent, objective framework for how internal product requests are received, evaluated, and either prioritised or respectfully declined. Ensure digital investments are strategically deployed to drive maximum business value.
* Product Vision: Own and execute the product roadmap across our seven core operational streams: Asset Life Cycle, Sales Enablement, Vendor Servicing, Digital Asset Acquisition, Membership Programs, Post Purchase X-Sell, and Selling Assets.
* Storytelling & Advocacy: Champion the product journey across the entire organisation. Effectively communicate the "why" behind product decisions, tailoring the narrative to resonate with diverse teams and secure companywide buy-in.
* Team Leadership & Organisational Design: Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing product office. Architect the structure of sub-product teams (e.g., Transport) and embed outcome focused product management practices.
* Performance Ownership: Take full accountability for product success by defining clear KPIs, establishing robust success metrics, and managing product related P&L responsibilities.
* Digital Ecosystem Collaboration: Operate hand in glove with peer digital disciplines across Tech, Data, AI, and Marketing. Act as the connective tissue that ensures product strategy is informed by deep data insights, empowered by scalable technology, and amplified by targeted go to market efforts.

* Employee facing systems that reduce friction and improve throughput in the asset lifecycle

* Ownership and effective management of a P&L
* Active listening allowing to discern a problem from a situation and turn it into an opportunity.
* Ability to be the coach, referee or fullback depending on the audience and need.
* Demonstrated ability to lead high performing teams efficiently maximising output over overheads.
