Senior OT Project Engineer

About The Role
As a senior member of the OT Engineering team, you will drive end‐to‐end delivery of complex projects spanning SCADA, Historian, control systems, networks, and cyber security. You'll play a pivotal role in ensuring safe, reliable and efficient operations across essential energy infrastructure.
What You'll Do
* Lead and deliver OT programs aligned to business outcomes
* Oversee project planning, resourcing, scheduling and execution
* Provide technical design, assurance and consultancy services
* Ensure delivery of projects on time, on budget and to scope
* Manage risk and change within critical operational environments
* Mentor engineers and uplift team capability
* Strengthen OT standards, governance and continuous improvement
* Build strong relationships across internal teams, vendors and regulators
What You Bring
* Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Control Systems or Power Engineering
* RPEQ/RPEV (or equivalent) registration – essential
* 7+ years' experience in OT within power, gas, LNG, or utilities sectors
* Proven success delivering complex, multi‐stakeholder projects
Technical Expertise
* SCADA (Geo‐SCADA or similar), Historians & Control Systems
* OT networks, RTUs and industrial communications
* Cybersecurity frameworks (IEC 62443, AESCSF)
* Protocols such as ICCP, DNP3, IEC61850, Modbus, OPC
* Risk management & Management of Change in live environments
Bonus If You Have Experience With
* DCS/GMS/EMS/AGC, energy markets (NEM/WEM), microgrids
* Maximo, ServiceNow, or project management certifications
