Due to continued growth, we are seeking experienced Calibration Technician to join Powertech, supporting our Perth Office, on a Full-Time Permanent basis.

About The Role:
Traveling to remote and overseas locations to perform onsite calibrations and repairs as needed by the business is a requirement of this role.
Main responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Perform calibrations within the calibration laboratory's capability on electrical, pressure, torque, temperature, LV/HV PPE, mechanical and dimensional equipment.
* Follow the procedures set down in the Calibration Manual and as set out in ISO 17025 to maintain a high-quality control within the calibration laboratory.
* Accurate generation of calibration reports and certifications.
* Development and maintenance of testing procedures, capabilities, and equipment.
* Willingness to travel to remote and overseas locations to perform onsite calibration and repairs as required by the business.
* Maintaining calibration procedures and work instructions.
* Handling client queries.
* Preparation of quotations for equipment calibration and repair.
* Liaise with customers regarding the status of customer jobs.
* Other technical and administrative duties as required.
* Work in a team environment.
About You:
* Minimum 3 years' relevant experience within a calibration laboratory with the following equipment types:
* Electrical equipment/LV/HV PPE Testing
* Electronic repairs
* Temperature/Pressure equipment
* Torque, mechanical and dimensional equipment
* Strong knowledge of electronics and/or measurement techniques.
* Experience writing procedures and work instructions.
* Experience writing uncertainty budgets and/or calculating uncertainty.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
