A top-tier law firm has partnered with Elevate and seeks a qualified lawyer for an onward secondment with a leading Insurance company for a 3-month contract project with a potential to extend up to 12 months.
This role will start ASAP and will be based in Sydney.
Key Responsibilities Provide high-level legal insight on time-sensitive and complex matters.
Lead legal analysis and advice on statutory interpretation, disciplinary action, privacy law, and industrial relations.
Oversee and manage external law firms and ensure quality legal services.
Collaborate on litigation strategy, regulatory matters, and complaint resolution.
Engage meaningfully with internal and external stakeholders, influencing through clear and defensible legal advice.
About You A minimum of 7-10 years of post-admission experience.
Deep expertise in administrative, dispute resolution, and employment law.
Strong grasp of NSW Government procurement policies.
Understanding of legislative frameworks relevant to the Insurance sector.
A collaborative mindset and ability to provide strategic, fit-for-purpose legal solutions.
