The role will see you working on council projects various sites around Brisbane.
About your new role
Participate in a wide variety of arboriculture activities, including tree removal and maintenance, chemical application, utilising specialist equipment.
A high level of skill in the work you do with a strong focus on ensuring safety and following WHS guidelines.
Tree maintenance, pruning and removal
Chipper operations
Chemical application
Stump grinding
Training of new staff
What you will need to exceed
A strong sense of teamwork with an interest in ensuring projects are completed to a high standard.
Prevous experience as an arborist or worked in a similar role previously and a commitment to safety.
Certificate III in Arboriculture - Highly Desirable or industry experience
Chainsaw Level 3 - Highly Desirable
Chipper ticket - Highly Desirable
“C” class “manual” drivers licence.
Essential
First Aid & CPR - Highly Desirable
Work Safely in the Construction Industry (white card) - Essential
Working Safely at Heights - Highly Desirable
Traffic Management Implementation - Highly Desirable
In addition, you will need to be willing to obtain an MR vehicle licence within 3 months of commencement (If you do not already have one)
