Farm Hand – Cattle Farm (NSW South Coast)
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Farm Hand to join a beef cattle operation located on the NSW South Coast. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys outdoor work, livestock handling, and rural living.
Key Responsibilities
Daily care and handling of beef cattle
Mustering cattle using motorbikes, or vehicles
Feeding livestock and monitoring animal health
Fence repairs and general property maintenance
Operating and maintaining farm machinery and equipment
Water trough and pasture management
Assisting with cattle yard work including drafting, weighing, tagging, and loading
Weed control and basic farm improvements
Maintaining sheds, tools, and farm infrastructure
Skills & Experience
Previous livestock or farming experience
Ability to safely operate tractors, side-by-sides, motorbikes, and farm equipment
Basic mechanical and maintenance skills highly regarded
Strong work ethic and ability to productively work independently
Good communication and teamwork skills
Driver’s licence required
Chemical accreditation and machinery tickets advantageous but not essential
