About The College
MacKillop Catholic College, Mount Peter is a master-planned Prep-to-Year 12 college located in the growing southern corridor of Cairns, established in ****. The college has progressed through successive years, culminating in the first Year-12 cohort graduating in ****.
About The Role
The Administration Officer provides a high level of administrative support to the Assistant Principal – Administration and assists with the student enrolment processes.
Typical Duties
Provide administrative support to the Assistant Principal – Administration, including daily organisation tasks such as reviewing the daily bulletin, supplying relief teachers with timetables and duties, and sharing cover lessons.
Create eMinerva activities and roll-calls for students not in regular classes.
Send EdSmart parent slips to families regarding school activities and excursions.
Create and maintain the college calendar.
Support the Enrolment Officer: review and update enrolment information in eMinerva; maintain Codafile system to create new student files; manage the exit process for students.
Serve as a liaison with students, staff and key stakeholders.
Work Requirements
Hold a Working with Children Blue Card.
Be fully supportive of the ethos of Catholic Education.
Commit to creating and maintaining a child-safe organisation.
