This full-time role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety in their day – from resolving tech issues to improving systems and keeping our stores running smoothly.
About the Role
As our ICT Support Technician, you will:
* Be the first point of contact for technical support across our network
* Respond to inquiries, troubleshoot and resolve issues with hardware, software, internet, printers, POS and mobile devices
* Support Microsoft Office 365 and Google Workplace
* Assist with user setup, configuration, permissions, and IT onboarding
* Maintain IT asset registers and ensure system reliability
* Optimize the performance and utilization of software and hardware resources
* Liaise with external vendors and contribute to ICT improvement projects
What We're Looking For
* A minimum of an Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma, or Diploma (or overseas equivalent) in a relevant ICT field is required
* 1–2 years' experience in an ICT support role (retail or healthcare environment desirable)
* Strong experience with Office 365 and Google Workplace troubleshooting
* Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
* Any experience with Optomate or other optometry software is a big plus
* Someone organised, calm under pressure, and always willing to help
