We're looking for an IT Technician to join our client's team on at a local mine site. You'll provide day to day IT support across site, helping keep systems, networks, and users running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide first-line IT support (hardware, software, network issues)
* Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems
* Manage helpdesk tickets and escalate when required
* Install and maintain systems, applications, and devices
* Support network infrastructure (switches, connectivity, VLANs)
* Maintain IT equipment and asset inventory
* Assist with IT projects and system upgrades
* Support users with training and best practices
* Participate in after-hours on-call roster
About You
* Experience in IT support or similar role
* Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
* Great communication and customer service
* Able to work independently and in a team
Desirable:
* IT or STEM qualification
* Networking, Microsoft, or ITIL certifications
* Experience with Cisco, SAP, or similar systems
