About The Role

We are seeking an experienced People & Culture Manager - Early Careers to lead and manage our national early careers programs, including clerkships and graduates. This is an exciting time to join the team and continue to build on the success of our award-winning programs.

This role will work closely with our Early Careers team, the wider People & Culture team, our Marketing and Branding team, and Graduate Partners and have ownership and oversight of early careers nationally.

Reporting to the Head of Talent Acquisition, further key responsibilities will include:

1. Strategic oversight of the approach, communication and Early Careers experience across our three offices - Melbourne, Sydney and Canberra
2. Oversee and coordinate the national graduate induction program
3. Lead workforce planning for early careers, including oversight of clerkship volumes and graduate intake numbers
4. Lead and develop the early careers team, including direct line management responsibility
5. Identify opportunities for program development and continuous improvement as the programs continue to evolve
6. Work with the Marketing team to design and execute on exciting marketing initiatives and employer branding
7. Managing the day-to-day early careers program (Graduate and Clerks) for our Sydney office, working closely with our Sydney Partners

About You

You will be an experienced People & Culture professional with a strong background in early careers, graduate or volume recruitment programs. You will ideally have experience working in a law firm, along with:

8. Demonstrated experience leading and coordinating early careers or graduate programs at a national level
9. Strong stakeholder management skills, with confidence engaging senior leaders and Partners
10. Experience managing and developing team members
11. A proactive, organised and detail-oriented approach
12. The ability to think strategically while also owning day-to-day operational delivery
13. A passion for creating high-quality candidate and employee experiences
