Business Test Manager | Enterprise Organisation | BRT and UAT
Based in Sydney | Hybrid – 3 day in Macquarie Park Office / WFH
$800/day | 6-month contract + extensions | Start ASAP
This Large Telco Organisation is seeking an additional Business Test Manager with at least 5 years of experience to lead the business in Business Readiness Testing and User Acceptance Testing of their products. Someone who is highly organised and has excellent communication and stakeholder management skills would excel in this role.
Responsibilities
Participating in Program Increment (PI) sessions, writing the user stories with estimates for UAT & BRT, participating in Daily Stand Ups (DSUs), Sprint/Iteration Planning Review/Refinement/Retro/Demo sessions.
Liaise with Product manager, Product owner, Business Analyst, Architects, Vendors, Support groups, Operational Users throughout Test Planning, Test Preparation, Test Execution and Reporting.
Facilitate UAT (User Acceptance Testing) with the operational users ensuring that functionality is as required by the customers. Schedule and coordinate testing in a time efficient and cost effective manner.
Facilitate E2E BRT (Business Readiness Testing / Process testing) to ensure that E2E customer corridor processes can be supported well within organisation. Schedule and coordinate testing in a time efficient and cost-effective manner
Ensure documents and deliverables (eg: test strategy, test plans, test cases, test setup for UAT and BRT, test execution, test reports) required to support program / initiative need are completed on time and are of good quality.
Support multiple concurrent initiatives / programs.
Proactively identify and address risks, issues and dependencies related to testing activities, work closely with delivery managers and other stakeholders to mitigate potential impacts.
Peer Reviews for Test documentation to ensure completeness and accuracy.
Lead Defect Triage meetings to ensure quick communication and resolution of critical defects to facilitate product launch.
Effective escalations
Collaborate closely with upstream and downstream stakeholders to gather requirements, provide updates, and ensure alignment throughout the testing process.

Casual Loading
Please note for all Australian based contract and temporary roles only, the pay rate is inclusive of mandatory 25% casual loading. This excludes permanent and fixed term roles.
