About the Company:
DuoGlass is Western Australia's leading manufacturer and supplier of premium double-glazed windows and doors. Utilising German-engineered uPVC and locally manufactured insulated glass units, DuoGlass enhances the security, thermal, and acoustic performance of homes and commercial properties across the state.
About the Role:
Reporting to the Directors, the General Manager will have full operational responsibility for the business, overseeing production, installation, people management, and strategic performance. This role is hands-on and leadership-focused, ensuring efficiency, quality, and strong collaboration across the business and with key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead, manage, and support a team of 10–15 staff across production, installation, and administration
* Oversee daily production and installation operations to ensure quality, safety, and delivery targets are met
* Conduct and facilitate weekly management and operational meetings
* Develop, manage, and report on annual budgets and financial performance
* Oversee HR functions in collaboration with department managers, including performance management, recruitment, and staff development
* Liaise with affiliated companies to ensure alignment and collaboration
* Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, contractors, and customers
* Drive continuous improvement across systems, processes, and workflows
About You:
* Proven experience in a senior management or general management role
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate teams
* Experience overseeing manufacturing, production, or installation-based operations
* Exposure to window and/or door manufacturing and installation
* Sound financial and budgeting experience
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
* Practical, solutions-focused approach with a high level of accountability
