Job Title: Sales and Account Manager

We are seeking a results-driven Sales and Account Manager to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our sales operations, you will play a vital role in driving growth and revenue through strategic pipeline development, pricing optimization, and product differentiation.

In this exciting opportunity, you will oversee sales operations from Altona North, managing customer relationships, delivering exceptional service, engaging internal stakeholders, and driving growth in Victoria. With a remit split of 40% new business focus and 60% account management, you will be responsible for maintaining strong relationships with customers, employees, and contractors to meet manufacturing requirements and specifications.

You will also develop bespoke customer service standards and strengthen supplier partnerships through collaboration and market intelligence. Additionally, you will negotiate supply agreements that enhance profit and value, prepare detailed reporting and analysis on business activities, performance, and market opportunities, and submit competitive tenders and proposals to deliver valuable services for customers and the business.

As a mentor to the team, you will foster a positive sales environment, culture, and morale, while ensuring accurate sales and status reporting reflects business activity and team performance. To succeed in this role, you must have a proven track record of influencing, negotiation, and engagement abilities at all levels, as well as technical sales experience as a Business Development or Key Account Manager.

Your skills and experience should include:

* Experienced plastic packaging sales professional with account management skills;
* Strong financial acumen with ability to meet budget targets;
* Proven influencing, negotiation, and engagement abilities at all levels;
* Strategic selling and customer solution focus;
* Technical sales experience as a Business Development or Key Account Manager;
* Personal presence and credibility building stakeholder engagement.
