Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop and implement high-quality Java application solutions across the full software development lifecycle, including feasibility, analysis, design, build, implementation, support and optimisation.
- Produce technical solution designs aligned to enterprise architecture standards.
- Analyse new business requirements and contribute to solution design.
- Develop, support and enhance system components; conduct thorough unit and integration testing.
- Assist in evaluating and selecting new technology solutions.
About You
- Degree in IT (or equivalent experience) with 2+ years’ Java applications development experience.
- Strong skills in SQL, Java and up-to-date web application frameworks.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and within a collaborative team, showing initiative and technical leadership.
- Experience in analysing and designing complex technology solutions.
- Higher-education sector experience will be highly advantageous.
Desirable extras: project management or project team exposure, and familiarity with ITIL principles and processes.
