Details : Libraries ACT is seeking a confident, community-focused leader to join our team as a Library Service Officer.

Responsibilities
- Lead by example, guiding and supporting branch staff and occasionally stepping in as Officer in Charge.
- Deliver high-quality customer service and resolve queries with confidence and care.
- Help run programs like Giggle and Wiggle, Sensory Story Time, and adult learning sessions.
- Contribute to continuous improvement and staff training across the network.
- Promote Libraries ACT’s resources and services to the wider community.
Libraries ACT operates seven days a week, and this role will involve shift work, including weekends, across the public library network.

Eligibility and Other Requirements

Note
There is no current vacancy. A Merit Pool will be established from this selection process to fill temporary and permanent vacancies over the next 12 months, which may be part-time or full-time. Part-time hours will be considered, and the full-time salary noted above will be pro-rata.
