About the Role
Opal HealthCare is seeking a proactiveWHS Advisorto lead safety initiatives across our NSW Care Communities. You'll drive compliance, support operational teams, and embed a strong safety culture through audits, training, and risk management.
Key Responsibilities
* Champion a safety-first culture and support wellbeing initiatives
* Deliver WHS training and lead safety committees
* Conduct audits, inspections, and incident investigations
* Implement WHS systems aligned with legislation
* Support return-to-work processes and contractor compliance
* Promote continuous improvement and risk mitigation
About You:
* Cert IV or Diploma in WHS
* 5+ years' WHS experience (aged care/healthcare preferred)
* Strong knowledge of NSW WHS legislation
* Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
* Willingness to travel across NSW
All applicants must be willing to obtain a police clearance certificate via Opal HealthCare's police check system and undergo pre-employment medical.
