About the Role: The Rawson Group is searching for a Construction Labourer to assist the site management team to maintain an organised and safe site. The role will be based at our newest B2B construction site in Blueys Beach with a strong pipeline of work in the area and room to develop, learn and grow within the business. The successful applicant will be responsible for housekeeping, stock management and material handling to assist site managers and trades for a streamlined build process. The role will be responsible for the safe use and daily maintenance of a Telehandler to assist in the duties; prior experience with mobile plant is strongly desirable. Key Responsibilities
- Be responsible for controlling, safe operation and daily maintenance of a Telehandler
- Ensure the day-to-day operations on-site run smoothly by liaising with site managers and delivery partners to manage materials
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external
- Maintain housekeeping and material storage areas to ensure safe working conditions
- Ensure that work is planned and executed according to established timelines
- Comply with responsibilities under current Work Health and Safety legislation
- Complete other ad-hoc activities as directed by Construction & Project managers
- Complete manual tasks such as relocating materials, completing housekeeping or helping trades
What We're Looking For
- Industry experience with significant exposure to trades
- General Construction Induction course / White card (mandatory)
- Asbestos & Silica Awareness Certificate (mandatory)
- Current First Aid training
- Hold a valid Australian driver’s licence (mandatory)
- RIIHAN309F – Conduct Telescopic Materials Handler Operations (highly desirable)
- Ability to communicate professionally
- A high level of attention to detail and a proactive approach to all tasks undertaken
- Problem solving and working under pressure to meet deadlines
- Strong understanding of WHS requirements and a positive safety culture
- Be physically fit to complete manual tasks such as relocating materials or equipment
- Ability or experience in use of computers and safety software to complete assessments (training will be provided)
