Responsibilities
We're seeking a reliable and safety-focused driver to join our team. Key responsibilities include:
* Inspecting tractor-trailers for defects pre- and post-trip and submitting DOT inspection reports detailing the condition.
* Inspecting bill of lading and store keys for accuracy in off-hour delivery.
* Driving tractor-trailers to destinations, applying knowledge of commercial driving regulations and skill in maneuvering vehicles on the road and on customer premises.
* Maintaining driver logs (Manual or Peoplenet) according to DOT regulations, documenting delivery receipts, product temperatures, and exceptions.
* Unloading trailers, delivering products into customer premises.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
* A valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL-A).
* At least one year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience.
* The ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely.
