Job Overview:
The Meteorological Compliance Lead is a critical role that jointly coordinates the aviation meteorological compliance activities. This includes delivering compliance activities such as audits, issues management and customer engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
* Apply a risk-based approach to develop compliance audit priorities.
* Provide strategic and operational guidance to ensure execution of all compliance activities.
* Make decisions and provide customer education on compliance related matters.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will have excellent attention to detail, strong analytical skills and an ability to communicate effectively. You will also possess a proven track record of engagement with diverse stakeholders and demonstrate a strong commitment to leading by example and building a shared sense of purpose and direction in a cohesive and high performing team.
Working Environment:
The Meteorological Authority Office resides in the Organisational Resilience Program and represents the Bureau as the designated Meteorological Authority for Australia. The team works closely with other departments to ensure alignment between compliance, team and program activities.
