Job Responsibilities
As a Ramp Officer, your primary responsibility is ensuring baggage and freight reach their destinations efficiently. This physically demanding role involves lifting, carrying, and moving luggage in and out of aircraft holds according to strict timelines.
Your tasks will include:
* Loading and unloading passenger luggage and air cargo
* Sorting and transferring baggage safely and efficiently
* Operating equipment like trolleys, dollies, and conveyor systems
* Reporting issues or equipment faults promptly
* Representing the airline and its team professionally at all times
We seek someone physically fit, with strong situational awareness, who can thrive in a fast-paced, team-focused environment. To succeed, you'll need to be reliable, adaptable, and committed to safety while maintaining a positive and proactive attitude.
Requirements
The Ideal Candidate:
* A valid Australian driver's license
* A valid Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC) - or ability to obtain one
