Job Description
The Senior Social Worker (Truancy) is a short-term contract role that works with schools and preschools to support children and young people with additional needs.
This position provides professional support and supervision to Social Workers Truancy, working with preschools and schools to provide proactive and targeted services to support children and young people with attendance engagement and retention concerns and their families.
The successful applicant will be responsible for implementing a service model that supports the provision of integrated and targeted services to meet the needs of children and young people with additional needs.
The role involves providing professional support and supervision to Social Workers Truancy, as well as participating in the implementation of a service model that supports the provision of integrated and targeted services to meet the needs of children and young people with additional needs.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Implement a service model that supports the provision of integrated and targeted services to meet the needs of children and young people with additional needs.
2. Provide professional support and supervision to Social Workers Truancy.
Qualifications
Essential: An appropriate degree or equivalent which gives eligibility for full membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers.
