This is a full-time, permanent role for an experienced Payroll Officer in the finance team.
Position Description
This role is responsible for working in partnership with Payroll and Finance stakeholders to assist with accurate and efficient payroll processing.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
* End-to-end payroll processing for 400+ employees
* Processing new starters, terminations and payroll adjustments
* Ensuring compliance with payroll-related legislation
* Processing payroll tax, workers' compensation and superannuation
* Upholding high customer service standards and efficiently managing employee queries
* Involvement in system enhancements, implementations, and process improvement initiatives
* Partnering and developing strong internal and external relationships with key stakeholders
* Relevant reporting duties
* Additional tasks to assist the broader team
Candidate Profile
The successful applicant will have a strong background in end-to-end payroll and a passion for operational excellence. You will demonstrate effective time management and organisational skills, and a proven ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a broader team. Strong attention to detail, ability to multitask, and flexibility are essential. Prior experience using Micropay is advantageous.
