FoodWorks Melton is looking for an experienced and motivated Assistant Grocery Manager to join our team.
This is a hands‐on leadership role suited to someone with strong supermarket grocery experience who is ready to step up and support the Grocery Manager in running a busy department.
About the Role
You will work closely with the Head Grocery Manager to assist with the daily running of the grocery department, including stock control, merchandising, team support, and maintaining high store standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist with day‐to‐day grocery department operations
* Stock ordering, replenishment, rotation, and inventory control
* Merchandising and maintaining strong shelf presentation
* Supporting and supervising team members
* Working efficiently in a fast‐paced supermarket environment
* Delivering strong customer service and meeting store standards
Essential Requirements (Must Have)
* Have previous supermarket experience in grocery (Assistant Manager, 2IC, Team Leader, or Senior Grocery role preferred)
* Have experience in IGA, FoodWorks, Woolworths, Coles, or Aldi
* Be reliable, organised, and able to work under pressure
* Have strong communication skills and a positive attitude

Availability
* Full‐time position
* Must be available 5–6 days per week

Training Provided
