Diesel Fitter Job
The role of Diesel Fitter is to perform planned and reactive maintenance tasks safely and effectively within the site's Mobile Maintenance department.
Key Responsibilities:
* Routine maintenance, repairs, and servicing along with field work are critical components of this position.
* This includes working on a range of mining equipment including loaders and drills, as well as reading and interpreting hydraulic and auto electrical schematics and associated software programs.
* Gaining technical knowledge to apply potential asset/maintenance improvements is essential for success in this role.
* Maintaining health, safety, statutory, regulatory, and licensing standards and principles is also crucial.
About You
* To succeed in this position, you will need strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and the ability to meet deadlines.
* A diesel fitter trade certificate, current manual drivers license, and excellent diagnostic, fault finding and troubleshooting skills are required.
