About the role at DoubleTree by Hilton Perth Waterfront

Set on the Swan River waterfront, our hotel is next to Elizabeth Quay entertainment and the iconic Bell Tower. Situated just 10 minutes from downtown Perth and the botanic gardens, this stylish full-service hotel having only just opened in 2020 is well known for it's exquisite rooftop pool & bar. This role will assume overall responsibility for the day-to-day running of this 229 room hotel.

**Responsibilities**:

- Inspires the team to deliver exceptional customer experiences - every guest, every time.
- Confidently communicates their vision for the hotel and inspires the team in the delivery of the DoubleTree essence - Simply Welcoming.
- Leads the team in the day to day operation of the Hotel according to the budgets set for the maximisation of revenue and profit through empowering the team to deliver.
- Leads and coordinates the implementation of all Global goals, projects, policies and events.
- Leads the team and collaborates with Human Resources to inspire the Hilton Worldwide vision "To fill the earth with the light and warmth of hospitality by delivery exceptional experiences - every hotel, every guest, every time" and our mission to be the most hospitable company in the world.
- Consistently challenges the status quo and looks to improve and innovate to provide the best possible service to our guests, the best environment for our team where they can thrive and provide the best relationship with our owners.
- Champions our recognition programs, leading by example through encouraging the heart of our team through individual and team recognition.
- Holds the primary and legal responsibility for workplace health and safety and ensures, so far as reasonably practicable, that the health and safety of all team members any other persons at the Hotel are not put at risk.
- Builds and maintains good relations with Hotel stakeholders, ensuring timely reporting and payment of dues, and access to Hotel and records in accordance with policy.

Skills/experience
- New opening experience to manage this relatively recent hotel through the final phase to trading/business as usual.
- Must have demonstrated ability to lead a team effectively and leverage clustered resources.
- Background should consist of a balance of operational and commercial expertise.
- Substantial and successful track record in hotel operations particularly Food & Beverage.
- Previous Hotel Leadership experience: preferably 5 years or more in a Hotel Manager/ Director of Operations/ Operations Manager role.
- High ability to maintain exceptional owner relations.
- Demonstrated ability to be a highly visible and hands on leader.
- International experience preferred.
- Must have the legal right to work in Australia.

**Salary**: Up to $150,000.00 per year

- 8 hour shift
