Our Sydney team brings together deep local knowledge with world‐class capability, offering the opportunity to work on meaningful city‐shaping projects while staying connected to a broader community of technical experts.
Our Sydney Transport Modelling team is in a strong position, with a growing pipeline of work across major transport programs. We're looking for a Transport Modeller to join the team and play a key role in supporting this continued momentum.
How you'll make a difference
* Minimum of 4 years' experience as a transport modeller
* Experience in delivering operational modelling e.g. microsimulation and mesoscopic modelling for technically challenging projects
* Excellent communication, presentation and analysis skills
* Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
Qualifications
* Recognised tertiary qualifications in engineering, transport, mathematics, economics, geography, computer science, statistics, physics or equivalent discipline
* Experience in one or more operational modelling platforms e.g. VISSIM, VisVAP, Aimsun, SIDRA
* Experience in using and developing scripts and macros in these packages
* Programming experience in Python, SQL, Visual Basic
* Experience in the use of GIS techniques in the application to transport modelling outputs and analysis.
