We are seeking a commercially driven Business Development Manager to drive growth across key manufacturing sectors by developing strong partnerships and delivering customised flavour solutions that help customers differentiate their products.
Key Responsibilities
* Identify and develop new business opportunities within food and beverage manufacturing
* Manage and grow relationships with existing customers
* Promote customised flavour solutions aligned to customer product development needs
* Work closely with NPD, R&D and procurement teams within client organisations
* Develop a strong pipeline through proactive market engagement and networking
* Conduct customer meetings, product presentations and commercial negotiations
* Track market trends, consumer insights and emerging flavour trends
* Collaborate internally with technical, regulatory and supply teams
* Maintain accurate CRM activity and sales forecasting
Skills & Experience
* Proven experience in business development or sales within flavours, food ingredients, or food manufacturing
* Strong understanding of the food product development process preferred
* Experience selling into food, beverage, bakery, dairy or nutrition manufacturers highly regarded
* Ability to manage both strategic accounts and new business development
* Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills
* Relationship-driven with strong communication skills
* Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously
