AECOM's Resources and Industry team has upcoming opportunities for Electrical Engineers to support the successful completion of a range of projects across the region. Working in a dynamic consulting environment, you will work on large multidisciplinary projects within Mining, Industrial and Transport sectors. Our team of industry experts supports the development of your technical and project management capabilities, giving you the opportunity to work across all project phases from studies through to detailed engineering and execution. Job Description How you'll make a difference
We have a diverse growth opportunity for an Electrical Engineer to join our expanding Resources + Industry team in Brisbane. In this role, you will contribute to technical delivery, team collaboration, and project excellence across a diverse range of defence, mining, industrial, transport, and buildings projects throughout Australia and New Zealand.
Responsibilities
* Design and deliver electrical systems for a diverse portfolio of engineering projects.
* Develop drawings, calculations, specifications and technical documentation.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, compliant designs.
* Assist with cost estimates, procurement, and project delivery activities.
* Provide technical support during construction, testing and commissioning.
Qualifications
* Demonstrable project exposure (ideally 3‐7 years) as an Electrical Engineer in engineering or construction environments.
* Proven experience with Australian Standards, ideally within major mining, heavy industry, buildings, industrial or transport projects.
* Experience providing engineering design from concept through to detail.
* Prior project experience in electrical design, construction and commissioning across LV/HV power distribution and control, LV motor control and LV motor control systems (including PLCs and SCADA).
