About the opportunity This is a key leadership role focused on delivering measurable outcomes for the safety, reliability and performance of the State Road Network across the South West.
As Director South West Region, you will lead the direction, operational delivery and long-term planning for the South West Region.
Your remit will span regional program development, project delivery and stakeholder engagement to ensure the network continues to support the South West regional community.
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate your capability to lead regional operations in a way that ensures objectives are clearly understood and consistently achieved.
Your technical insight and leadership experience will enable you to influence outcomes, navigate complex road infrastructure issues, project and contract challenges, and provide strong, effective support to key regional functions and activities.
You will be an effective leader, with the ability to understand and consider a broad range of regional stakeholders; including local governments, industry partners and community representatives.
Your strength in negotiation, collaboration and facilitation will positively influence teams across the region, and you will demonstrate a proactive approach to fostering capability, continuous improvement and professional development for yourself and your teams.
