2025/26 Summer Season – Huonville Pool and Port Huon Sports and Aquatic Centre
* Casual Positions Available
* Casual Hourly Rate: $38.89 per hour
* Annual Equivalent: $61, % casual loading (pro rata)
* Penalty Rates: Apply for weekend work
* Superannuation: 15% employer contribution
The Role
As the Recreation Centre Officer you will:
* Ensure the safety of patrons by providing effective supervision and lifeguarding
* Undertake routine checks and basic maintenance of pool equipment
* Provide excellent customer service to patrons
* Ensure the cleanliness of the centre
Skills & Experience
What You will Bring:
* Excellent customer service with the ability to build rapport with patrons.
* Strong communication skills, problem solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
* A current Pool Lifeguard accreditation (Highly Desirable)
* A current First Aid Certificate and Working with Vulnerable People card
