About The Role
As a House Manager, you will partner with a Therapeutic Specialist and Case Manager to lead the implementation of the CARE model, ensuring a safe, homelike environment supporting young people to thrive.
You will lead, motivate, and mentor a team of youth support workers, supporting young people to develop independent living skills, engage in education, and stay connected with their community.

Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage the home in line with the CARE model, legislation, service standards, and policies.
* Provide direct care and support to children and young people.
* Be a visible leader, offering guidance and role modeling.
* Oversee and implement therapeutic care plans.
* Guide your team in applying Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI) techniques.
* Provide reflective supervision and foster a supportive team culture.
Skills & Experience
* Diploma in Community Services, Youth Work, or related field (desirable but not essential for Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander applicants with relevant experience).
* Leadership experience in services supporting children and young people, such as out-of-home care or Intensive Therapeutic Care settings.
* Experience supporting individuals with disabilities or complex needs.
* Proven ability to lead and supervise teams, embedding therapeutic practices.
* Current First Aid (HLTAID003 or HLTAID011) & CPR (HLTAID009) certificates.
* A current, unrestricted driver's license.
Successful candidates will undergo probity checks including National Criminal History Record Check, NSW Working with Children Check, and NSW Residential Care Workers Register checks.
