Realcorp Commercial Cleaning is a fast-growing specialist commercial cleaning provider.

The sectors that we service include primarily commercial, residential apartment buildings (owners corporations and student accommodation buildings) and offices.

Overview:

The Cleaning Supervisor position will be made up of approximately 10% admin, and 90% on-job cleaning and supervisory work.

The Cleaning Supervisor will take pride in their work and be passionate about providing great customer service with exceptional attention to detail. The Cleaning Supervisor must be highly reliable, trustworthy, and must be able to effectively lead teams and manage contracts.

The role is based at one large commercial client in Ballarat, managing a team of 6-8 staff.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

Admin:

· Manage scope compliance

· Manage and organise periodic tasks for sites

· Manage staff rosters

· Proactively manage client relationships, via email and in person

· Identify additional works or services to offer to clients and assist management in quoting

· Other admin tasks as required

Management:

* Perform periodic inspections and ensure a high degree of quality for all contracts
* Support team ensuring that they are performing at a high level and are a strong representative of the Realcorp brand
* Identify 'areas for improvement' and proactively manage
* Communicate with all teams via phone and group chat channel to advise of tasks requiring improvement, and follow up to ensure requests have been actioned in a timely manner
* Train staff in accordance with the Realcorp Operations Manuel and oversee staff performance
* Proactively liaise with clients and ensure that they are satisfied with the service
* Oversee safety compliance
* Solve cleaning issues
* Strong customer service approach with a positive can-do attitude
* Effective time management
* Build and maintain a strong team culture
* Supervise and assist in more specialised cleaning tasks
* Manage equipment including arrangement of periodic test and tagging and overseeing regular maintenance
* Provide input for system improvements

To be successful for this position, candidates must possess the following:

· Strong management / team leading experience

· 2+ years of cleaning experience

· Task oriented and ability to thrive managing a high volume of tasks

· Strong English skills, written and spoken

· Minimum 24 hours / week availability, including at least 3-4 evenings per week.

· Experience using some specialist equipment including scrubbers, wet vacs, carpet machines, buffers, pressure washers would be beneficial but not required.

Pay: $34.00 – $35.00 per hour
